2. Do I need anything extra to get Data on my Handset ?
For a Handset you will need an accessory Data Kit or if you have a Vehicle Kit it will have a data connector on the bottom of the cradle.
3. What speed does the service run at ?
2.4 Kbps (using the Direct Internet 2.0 accelerator service it it possible to get effective speeds of up to 11 Kbps)
4. How are the calls charged ?
If you are using the Direct Internet 2.0 service you will be charged as per the Value Added Services table for calls to a 8816 number.
5. What number do I dial to access the Direct Internet 2.0 service ?
+8816 0000 25
6. I have just installed my Direct Internet 2.0 service from the CD and I cannot access the service ?
The default installation may have the incorrect phone number in it. Please update the phone number to +8816 0000 25.

8. My PC or Laptop doesn't have the same connector as provided on the cable ?
The data kit or Vehicle kit both use an RS232 serial DB9 connector. If your computer does not have this connector then an option is to use a USB to Serial converter. Not all USB to serial converters will work with all computers or operating systems, so you should seek advice from an IT professional on a suitable converter for your setup.
9. Can I access any other Data services ?
The only data service that is supported is the Direct Internet 2.0. Data calls to an ISP number or a phone number with a modem attached are not supported.
