What is the Pivotel Globalstar online service? | |
| Pivotel Globalstar online service allows users to connect to the Internet, access Web emails, or download files with a Globalstar handset or other cellular handsets at data speeds up to 9.6kbps uncompressed or effective data speeds up to 38.4kbps1 with an accelerator client provided at no extra cost2. |

What speed is the data transferred at? | |
| The data is transferred at 9.6kbps uncompressed. Users can connect to the accelerator client, at no charge, to enable data speeds up to 38.4kbps1. Globalstar's uncompressed Internet service is up to 4 times faster than other Australian Satellite mobile phone services. |

What Operating System (OS) is compatible with Globalstar's Mobile everywhere service? | |
Globalstars online service will run under the following Microsoft Windows Operating Systems:
Users are able to access the service without using the compression software. This enables any user with Windows 95 through to Windows XP Operating System's to access the service. |

What is contained in the DTA550 data kit2? | |
|

Do I need a data kit to enable data capabilities with a GSP1600 handset? | |
| No, the GSP1600 has a built-in modem so you simply need a data cable2 to enable data capabilities with a GSP1600 handset. The GSP1600 handsets have data capability in satellite mode only, not CDMA mode. |

Will Globalstar online servvice be compatible with an existing SAT550 handset? | |
| Yes. Data will work on the current SAT550 handset providing it contains the latest software. To check which version is installed, select the 'Menu' button and enter '6' then '3'. The version number will be displayed on the third line. The correct software version is: D.M.U.T: 8.1.9. If the phone has an older version of software, it can be upgraded by our repair centre. Please contact Customer Care on 1300 882 448 for details. The GSP1600 will work and does not need a software upgrade. |

Will Globalstar online work with an existing Telit Car & Marine Kit or a GCK1410 or GMK1410? | |
| Existing Telit Car and Marine kits will need an upgrade to enable Satellite data transfer. All new kits are data compatible. Please contact Customer Care on 1300 882 448 to upgrade your existing kit. The GCK1410 and GMK1410 are both data capable and do not require any upgrade. |

What does the Data Terminal Adapter do? | |

The DTA contains a DB9 data cable (serial 9 pin connector). If the computing device does not contain a serial port it may be necessary to purchase an adapter. For example, if the device has a USB port, a USB to serial adapter is required. Globalstar cannot guarantee that the drivers will be compatible with this alteration. |

How am I billed for using this service? | |
| Packet Data calls are billed at $1 per minute in 10 second increments with a minimum call time of 20 seconds. |

Am I charged for downloading or uploading data? | |
| No. Globalstar online service does not charge for the downloading or uploading of data. You only pay for airtime charges which are $1 per minute billed in 10 second increments with a 20 second minimum call time. This applies to all calling plans. |

Will the Telit DAT550 or GCK1410/GMK1410 be able to send faxes? | |
| No, not at this point in time. The Telit DTA is only designed to transmit data. You can however send faxes using a suitable PC application or service such as FAXSTREAM or eFAX. These applications are designed to direct faxes into your email account using a store and forward mechanism. |

Is Globalstar data available with the Ericsson R290? | |
| The Ericsson R290 is capable of making data calls in GSM mode only. You will need to purchase a DCK-07 data kit. |

How do I get connected to the online service? | |
| Globalstar customers with Globalstar Qualcomm products can connect to Globalstar's new packet data service by creating a dial-up connection and entering #777 for the connecting phone number. Packet data calls are charged at $1 per minute in 10 second increments, regardless of your calling plan. Globalstar customers can also make an asynchronous connection by creating a dial-up connection and connecting to 0420 10 10 10. Customers should enter "globalstar" for both the username and password. Customers are not billed any additional fee for the connection beyond the normal calling plan rate. |

Does the GSP1600 support CDMA data calls? | |
| No, CDMA data calls are not currently supported. |

| No, not currently. |
