Fueling of satellites and mating with the upper stage dispenser of the Soyuz launch vehicle now complete.

(NASDAQ:GSAT), a leading provider of mobile satellite voice and data services to businesses, government, and recreational consumers today announced that the second launch of six new Globalstar satellites is scheduled for July 11, 2011 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The Company also announced that engineers and technicians from launch services provider Arianespace and satellite manufacturer Thales Alenia Space have completed fueling of the satellites and all six spacecraft have now been mated to the upper stage dispenser of the Soyuz launch vehicle.

Globalstar Prepares Six New Second-Generation Satellites for July Launch
Satellites now undergoing pre launch testing and integration in preparation for launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome

Covington, LA , June 08 2011 - Globalstar, Inc. (NASDAQ:GSAT), a leading provider of mobile satellite voice and data services to businesses, government, and recreational consumers today announced that six new Globalstar satellites are now being prepared for the second launch of the Company's secondgeneration satellite constellation.

Engineers and technicians from launch services provider Arianespace and satellite manufacturer Thales Alenia Space have begun the necessary testing and integration process in preparation for a July liftoff using the highly reliable Soyuz launch vehicle. Later this year Globalstar plans to conduct two additional launches of six satellites per launch also using the Soyuz. In October 2010 the same launch vehicle was used to successfully launch six new Globalstar second-generation satellites.

Boeing to provide system integration and testing support for next-generation Iridium Satellite Network

SPRINGFIELD, Va., June 9, 2011 - The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] announced today that it has received a contract from Thales Alenia Space to provide system integration and testing support for Iridium NEXT. Iridium NEXT is the next-generation satellite constellation being designed, built and launched by Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: IRDM). Thales Alenia is the prime contractor for Iridium NEXT.

This long-term contract, extending through 2017, allows Boeing to continue its strong partnerships with both Thales Alenia and Iridium. In July 2010, Iridium also announced that it extended its long-term relationship with Boeing for satellite network operations support for the current Iridium constellation as well as Iridium NEXT.

Globalstar Announces Launch Schedule for New Satellites

Iridium Concludes Financing for Iridium NEXT

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 28, 2010 - Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq:IRDM) today announced that it has successfully closed the financing facility for its next generation satellite constellation, Iridium NEXT. The facility is provided by a syndicate of nine banks led by Deutsche Bank AG, Banco Santander SA, Societe Generale, Natixis and Mediobanca International S.A., and includes BNP Paribas, Credit Industriel et Commercial, Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and Unicredit Bank Austria AG. They will provide up to $1.8 billion of financing to Iridium for the design and manufacture of Iridium NEXT satellites.
