With comprehensive functionality, the SBD Pro is a global access data tracking and reporting terminal that communicates via the low earth orbit Iridium Satellite constellation using the Short Burst Data (SBD) protocol.

The SBD Pro allows low-cost asset tracking and remote data reporting. Integrated Time, GPS and temperature modules provide UTC time, global position coordinates and temperature data. Additional circuitry, switches and sensors can be connected to the SBD Pro' s versatile digital and analog I/Os allowing custom tailored monitoring applications. All sensors, internal or external, can be used as report transmission "triggers". The "gate conditions" are fully configurable by the user.
