The Pivotel Services Gateway (PSG)  is Pivotel's unified messaging platform. The PSG receives messages from various device types and, regardless of the network or device type, it decodes the data from the messages received and delivers the data to the VAR in accordance with the message format set out in the PSG specification. 

This means that once a VAR has completed an integration with the PSG, adding additional devices and network solutions is simple, with no changes required by the VAR to populate their databases with reports generated from the new network or device type.

The PSG provides a web based provisioning and management interface. In addition to standard message formats, it also supports the delivery of raw payloads for more bespoke applications.
