We are currently experiencing a transmission outage affecting Globalstar Mount Isa voice and asynchronous data call services.
Our transmission carrier is being required to relocate core transmission services with work underway with transmission carriers to arrange alternate circuits to restore transmission and services as soon as possible.
We do not have an estimation when the transmission may be relocated at this stage and due to the nature of works required, services may be unavailable for an extended period.
Regular updates will be provided on progress of works with transmission carriers.

We are currently experiencing an outage affecting voice, async and packet data calls in the Meekatharra footprint.
The fault has been partially isolated however expert support escalation is underway to identify and resolve the fault as soon as possible.
SPOT and Simplex services in the Meekatharra footprint are not currently affected and are operating normally.

Works have been performed that have restored voice, async and packet data services at this time with ongoing monitoring and discussion with expert engineers to determine if any further issues are observed or follow up work is required prior to issuing a service restoration notice.

Services may be intermittently unavailable or may become unavailable for an extended period while we continue to work with expert engineers on works to restore services to regular uninterrupted operation.

Works are underway to replace an identified faulty component in core switch equipment at the Meekatharra gateway.
It is expected that this will affect voice, async and packet data services for the next 1 to 2 hours in the Meekatharra footprint.
