The Pivotel App for Talk and Text (PATT) is a smartphone app that allows you to exchange voice calls and SMS with any standard national or international phone number using any data connection.

The Pivotel App for Talk and Text functions just like a mobile phone, you’ll get your own Australian ‘04’ mobile phone number, allowing incoming calls and SMS to be delivered directly to your dedicated PATT mobile number, meaning your friends, family and colleagues don’t even need to have the app installed. You can also call landline numbers, 1300 numbers, as well as international phone numbers.

PATT has been designed to work with virtually any data connection, including satellite services like Iridium Certus®, SkyMuster™ and nbn™ wireless, as well as other Internet and Wi-Fi connections like Pivotel's 4G Networks, meaning you can call and SMS, even when you are outside of standard mobile phone coverage.

Optional International Call Package
For an additional $10/month you can add the International Call Pack to your PATT Unlimited Talk & Text Plan. The pack includes unlimited international calls to 10 countries - New Zealand, United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, China, India, Germany, Malaysia, Japan and Singapore.

Pivotel App for Talk and Text (PATT) services are available wherever there is an accessible data connection including the Pivotel 4G Network. Emergency Calls are not available from this service using the phone’s native voice service.  Emergency 000 Operator Services are available from the PATT App when connected via an IP Network to the PATT Network.  Customers dialling the Australian emergency call number Triple Zero (000) will be connected straight through to emergency services. Emergency calls made from outside Australia may require different numbers, please check with Pivotel Mobile Customer Care on 1300 882 448.  The PATT service may not be able to receive National Emergency Warning System (NEWS) SMS warnings. MMS, Video MMS, SMS delivery receipt, Video Calling, Calling Number Display blocking, Premium voice and Premium SMS services are not available on the PATT service. Use of the Pivotel 4G service is subject to the Fair Use Policy. You must bring your own compatible handset to use the PATT service.  Prices are in AUD including GST and are subject to change.  You may receive a pro-rata access fee charge on your first Pivotel bill, calculated from the actual date of service connection to the date of your first bill. You will receive a bill by email from Pivotel listing any payments you have made during the billing period, and a summary of your service usage to enable you to keep track of your overall service usage and monthly spend. Itemised billed and unbilled service usage is available in the secure Selfcare website at www.pivotel.com.au/selfcare. Pivotel plans are available to credit approved customers only who agree to the plan terms and conditions including email billing and recurring payment via credit card.
