The external antenna is a passive outdoor antenna for Thuraya SatSleeve (Plus, Hotspot, iPhone and Android), XT-LITE / XT and XT-PRO DUAL / XT-PRO. The antenna requires no pointing towards the satellite and the rugged design ensures a reliable performance even in harsh conditions. For vehicle use, the magnetic mount external vehicle antenna comes in 2m standard or 5m extended vehicle kit.
 
Simply connect the antenna to the SatSleeve and place the magnetic mounted antenna in a position with direct line of sight to the Thuraya satellite. Connect your smart phone to the SatSleeve and you have a simple satellite communication solution on the go.

How to use with SatSleeve+ and Hotspot

  1. Connect the antenna cable or adaptor cable to the back of your SatSleeve main unit.
  2. Place the magnetic mounted antenna on a roof with clear line of sight to the Thuraya satellite.
  3. Connect your smart phone to the SatSleeve via WiFi.
  4. Connect a wired earphone with speaker to your smart phone or use the Bluetooth function on your smart phone for hands-free call.
  5. You now have a simple satellite communication solution on the go by using the Hotspot orange app.

How to use with SatSleeve for iPhone and Android
 
Note that SatSleeve for iPhone and Android work differently from SatSleeve Plus and Hotspot. Please use the instruction below specifically for SatSleeve for iPhone and Android.

  1. Connect the antenna cable or adaptor cable to the back of your SatSleeve main unit.
  2. Place the magnetic mounted antenna on a roof with clear line of sight to the Thuraya satellite.
  3. Connect a wired earphone with speaker to your SatSleeve main unit for hands-free call. Note: the audio of voice call is on the SatSleeve main unit, not your smart phone.
  4. Connect your smart phone to the SatSleeve via Bluetooth.
  5. You now have a simple satellite communication solution on the go by using the SatSleeve blue app.
