The Iridium satellite network is trusted by millions of users across the globe and provides truly global coverage via a constellation of 66 low earth orbit (LEO) satellites.
Pivotel's Iridium Australian coverage includes all areas of Australian territory shown, excluding Antarctica, and 200NM off-shore.
Calls made from within the Australian territory are charged at the applicable local mobile satellite rates. Calls made from outside Australian territory are charged at the applicable international service rate.
With a constellation of 66 cross-linked satellites, only Iridium truly spans the globe.
