Networks
ecoSphere®
Pivotel’s ecoSphere® networks are private wireless networks that are designed specifically to
meet the coverage and connectivity requirements of a property, region or community.
ecoSphere® - Coverage
Pivotel’s ecoSphere® networks utilise technology that can be deployed in rural, remote or regional areas where mobile coverage isn’t an option and provides you with secure telephony, data, video, tracking and monitoring connections.
Pivotel’s ecoSphere® network coverage is comprised of a customised LTE network that caters for the individual site or property’s connectivity requirements.
The Mt Barker Pivotel 4G Network provides 4G Internet services to homesteads, 4G mobile data services suitable for use with handsets and tablets, as well as IoT (Internet of Things) services that are suitable for connecting devices such as sensors, cameras, weather stations, gate controllers etc.
A service qualification and coverage check based on the location you intend to use the services at will be conducted before you can order a service. The service qualification (SQ) check is an indication that your chosen location is within a serviceable area, it does not guarantee that your location is 4G serviceable.
The 4G Homestead service can only be used with a Pivotel supplied modem and external antenna installed by a Pivotel installer. Our installer will position an antenna on your roof and connect the antenna to your Wi-Fi modem within your homestead.
Note: Coverage maps should be used as a guide only - whilst we try to ensure accuracy, factors such as building construction, local conditions, device and software, download source and traffic volumes may impact your experience.
