RockFLEET by Pivotel is a vessel monitoring system (VMS) solution that is ideal for fishers who want an affordable satellite based solution to meet their QLD DAF VMS obligations. Once installed and connected to vessel power RockFLEET will automatically transmit its location to QLD Fisheries and Tracertrak.
RockFLEET is a waterproof and ruggedized solution that meets the VMS requirements introduced by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Queensland. RockFLEET by Pivotel has a low upfront purchase price and is simple to install and operate. Pivotel’s low running cost of just $55 inc GST per month covers the cost of satellite airtime, submission of the VMS data to DAF, as required under the regulation, and access to Pivotel’s online Tracertrak portal, which provides real-time and historical location information to the licence holder.

Pivotel RockFLEET plans use the Iridium Mobile Satellite Network. Satellite reception limitations and some exclusion zones apply. Prices include Australian GST and are subject to change. Visit www.pivotel.com.au/coverage for a coverage map. A compatible Iridium satellite device must be purchased from Pivotel to access the Pivotel Iridium satellite VMS service (see device pricing). Pivotel may apply call barring where fraudulent use is suspected or for credit control purposes. You will receive a bill by email from Pivotel listing any payments you have made during the billing period, and a summary of your service usage to enable you to keep track of your overall service usage and monthly spend. Itemised billed and unbilled service usage is available in the secure Selfcare website at www.pivotel.com.au/selfcare. An itemised bill listing all of your service usage events is available on request. Pivotel plans are available to credit approved customers only. Minimum contract term is 12 months with a maximum of 6 months on suspension over the 12 months. If you suspend your service during the minimum term, your minimum term period will be extended equivalent to the number of months your service is in suspension. Minimum cost is $685 over 12 months (includes $25 activation fee) + RockFLEET device. A re-activation fee of $20 will be incurred each time a device is removed from suspension.
