Pivotel takes home win for innovative worker safety and asset monitoring system

Gold Coast based telecommunications provider, Pivotel, has been awarded the Mayor’s Innovation GC Award at the 2020 Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards for its world leading enterprise worker safety and asset monitoring solution, Tracertrak.

The Tracertrak system utilises satellite connectivity to keep more than 11,000 remote and isolated workers around the world safe and connected each day, providing global resource tracking and monitoring for enterprise and government organisations.

Pivotel CEO Peter Bolger said the Mayor’s Innovation GC Award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Pivotel team who continued to thrive during such a tumultuous year.

“We’re honoured to be acknowledged for excellence at this year’s Awards. The Gold Coast has really transformed into Australia’s epicenter for business innovation, so we’re incredibly proud to be recognised alongside other local companies doing some incredible work both locally and internationally,” Mr Bolger said.

“Our team’s natural thirst for innovative work and commitment to excellence has existed since the company’s early days and this award is demonstrates this culture has not wavered during the coronavirus pandemic.”

“We’re incredibly proud of the Tracertrak system, developed right here on the Gold Coast.”

“Tracertrak brings communication and safety solutions once only available in the city to businesses and government organisations operating in rural and remote environments.”

“As one of our flagship home-grown products, we’re now looking to expand Tracertrak’s reach into global markets. We expect the US and Canadian markets to offer a market tenfold the size of Australasia and anticipate significant growth for this product offering in the coming years.”

“It’s a very exciting time for the Pivotel business as the company continues on a strong growth trajectory after years of demonstrating consistently strong financial and employee growth.”

“From here, it is our intention to continue delivering innovative product solutions and offering high-quality customer service while growing the business both domestically and internationally.”
